Evangelism in Our Present Culture

Bolton Conference 2017 - October 27-28 (Friday - Saturday)

There is a clear note of urgency in Jude’s exhortation to his readers to “contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.”  Even at that early date false teachers “had crept in unnoticed” into the church.  500 years ago, during the days of Martin Luther, the church had become so corrupt that a radical reformation was necessary.  This God graciously brought to pass using Luther and others as instruments to preserve the marvelous Biblical doctrines of God’s sovereign grace.

But the battle is not over.  Times and world conditions have changed, but the call to arms for fighting and contending for “the faith” still goes forth, and now is our time.

The Latin phrase, Semper Reformanda, which means, "Always Reforming", is the theme of the 2017 Bolton Conference.  Come and hear two men, one a noteable church historian--Michael Haykin, and the other a gifted Bible expositor--Thomas Schreiner, as they present how the battle was fought in the past, and then be instructed and encouraged as we can continue the glorious battle of reforming now.  By God’s grace, may we say with the Apostle Paul as we near the finish line that we have "fought the good fight, we’ve finished the race, and we’ve kept the faith."
